He should make the door sails that the mirrors attach to in CF. Think it looks silly on a non black car to have the CF attach to a non-painted surface. Jmho.

Just wanted to say thanks to the OP NickyC, used your write up to install these mirrors today, and it made installation a breeze! Definitely am loving these mirrors so far, subtle but cool difference against the silver grey paint.

Yep, installed them last night and the drive to work this morning was my first time seeing them on the car in daylight...couldn't stop staring at them. I've already gotten several compliments from other people at work that have seen my car in the parking lot!

I'm a new 2006 zr owner. I need a wind deflector that fits between the roll bars. The factory kit is $525 plus install there has to be an after market kit for less. Can anyone help with this request.

Hey Brad, I would definitely recommend the wind deflector by Windblox. I bought it about a year ago and its been great. For the price and quality its pretty much unbeatable as far as wind deflectors go. There's a bunch of options to choose from when you are going to purchase one also, I'd say definitely go for the clear straps which is like a $10 or $15 option. Let me know how it works out for you! Here is the link: http://www.windblox.com/
