Reminder: Niagara Cruise and Wineries
Hey all, just a reminder that our next cruise date is three weeks away. For details and to sign up, click the BMW Meets link in the link bar above then look for the event on Sept 30th. I need numbers for lunch reservations.
Hope to see you there...we all had a blast at the last one. |

Hi mike519, is the itinerary still the same for Sept 30th? Is eShine open on Sunday's?
Is this ride rain or shine?

Yes, the itinerary is still the same. I have sent an email to Chris at eShine to let him know of the change in date. They aren't actually open Saturdays either but he was going to come in for an hour for us so I am sure Sunday works too. I already have a $200 order ready to go! Regardless, its still a great route even if we don't stop in Port Colbourne for more than a coffee. |

I know there is another guy from maxbimmer considering joining us...Steve and Mirko may or may not also be in.
Gonna be a great ride...probably the last great cruise of the year so I am hoping more will join us! |

Yup, good to go. Peter said he would be a bit late so lets plan to meet at 9:30 instead of 9. My cell is 519-504-8430 in case we get sidetracked.
Rogers internet is down so I may not be able to get back on tonight...leaching my son's Telus connection right now! |

We had a great day, despite the weather starting out a little crappy. Had a nice ride down to Welland past Short Hills PP. We stopped at a good size car show just north of Welland before heading down towards Port Colborne and driving through the Thorold Tunnel (great sound blasting through there with the top down finally!).
We finally hit the Niagara Parkway in Fort Erie and had a really nice drive up to Chippewa where we stopped for lunch at The Boathouse. Back on the road, we drove through Niagara Falls then down to Niagara On The Lake and on to our first winery, Jackson Triggs. After a few samples and a number of bottles purchased, we headed down to Coyote's Run for more of the same. From there we said our goodbyes and headed out to the QEW. Had a lot of fun guys. Looking forward to spring for some new cruises. Nice to meet you Steve, Sandy, and Shane. Good to see you again Peter. Till next time... |
