Calabogie......

...or bust!!

Hey guys, I was in Ottawa for a few days last week with my wife who was at a conference.

Calabogie was running a lapping day on Saturday, so I headed out so see the track.
Ran into a few BMW guys and was able to score some right seat time with Dieter (E36 M3) who is one of the executive of the Ottawa valley BMW club.

I couldn't have been luckier; Dieter knows Calabogie like the back of his hand and ran an ongoing commentary about what he was doing for the entire session (with headsets).
What a great intro to the facility!!

Calabogie is a fabulous layout, I was just itching to get out there myself

Its a great mix of technical and speed.
Somewhere betwene Mospoprt F1 and the new DDT facilities.... awesome.

We have got to get something organized to get out there.

Man, looks like fun! Elevation changes and off camber stuff too? I hope you can get a few folks to join you!

Let's go next year as a group .. I either want to try that track or Tremblant.

Calabogie is a really nice track but Tremblant is better! Best track in Canada and one of the best in North America for sure!
