DIY on removing shifter console trim?

Did a search and got nothing. Is there a DIY on how to remove the trim around the shifter? From the looks of it you have to remove the whole shifter console. Any help would be most appreciated in advance. Thanks!

You just pry it out along the edge of the leather with a trim removal tool (plastic pry tool). See my post here with it removed.

Looks like they just moved them from "Hand Tools" to "Pry Tools."
And added a new 11 piece "Master" set.

Update:
I just took off my console trim yesterday, somewhat by accident.
I pulled up on the shifter boot, expecting the boot to come out of the trim, but the whole trim ring popped right off. I think it's meant to work that way.
The clips on the boot ring have a lot better grab than the clips on the trim.
Whole thing comes off, then release the boot ring from the inside.
