Question Best low-dust pads for M Roadster?

Anyone have some tried and true recommendations?
I will use the OEM rotors.

You'll likely find that the holes in the rotors will act as a cheese grater and there really is no low-dust pad solutions for the M unless you also swap to blank rotors or slotted rotors.

I swapped out the OEM pads for Akebono Euro ceramics (purchased from the Tire Rack). I am completely satisfied with these, as I no longer need to wipe the wheels down once a week. They don't have the same initial bite as the OEM pads, but they stopping has not been negatively affected IMO (I haven't tracked the car). They've actually made the brakes less grabby.

That's just for the rear pads. I don't see the Akebono front pads listed for the M at Tirerack.

I have found that the EBC Red Stuff ceramics are very low dust.

Roadroach, on 3.0SI coupe I really like Centric Posi Quiet Ceramic pads. Virtually no dust (what there is can't be seen).

Not bad at all. I need to install new pads in the next month or so and get them properly bedded in before I take off for my driving vacation to the Smoky Mountains in late July.

Anybody have any idea how long stock OEM rotors last on the SI?

Searched "minimum thickness 3.0SI rotor"...Google said...Front: 20.4mm Rear: 17.4mm
I'm betting you'll be replacing them. Zimmerman makes a nice replacement rotor.

Added to my weekend car to-do list.

Akebono. Have had mine on for a year when I added new wheels. Barely any dust.

I put Akebono on a newly acquired z3.
Very low dust. Very good bite.
The M3 got Cool Carbon.

I will chime in on the Akebono too - luckily I read about the drop in initial bite before I bought and installed them (with new rotors) as it was very noticeable. I would have questioned my installation the first time had I not been prepared for it, but now I am used to it. The other thing that was shocking the change in dust. I expected to see 25-30%, but I think it is closer to 90%. I hated that even after a day of driving my old pads would coat my wheels - these are excellent in that regard for sure.

Just be ready for the change in initial bite. I love them.

The Moupe I bought last year has Carbotech pads. Almost no dust, night/day difference compared to my si with stock pads.
