Not to go too far off topic, but does anyone know of any companies making rear shock braces/ties for the Z4M?

and yes I agree; I sought out silver grey..... it was a short color run.
Me too, although mine isn't an M. I just got lucky and was able to pick up the Dinan strut and supplemental bars on Ebay for $300, minus the hardware.

Probably not anything significant, not like the E36 days; more of a curiosity/eye-candy thing.

Spend your money on something that will really improve your car's performance; a driving school for you.
I autocross and track my M coupe. I think it would make the most difference when autocrossing, specifically when going from a hard sharp turn to an immediate hard sharp turn in the other direction. An improvement in that fast change of direction would make it worth it. I agree that there would be no noticeable difference when driving on the road though.

Is this the Strut brace for the Z4 or is there one specifically for the Z4M? How was the fitment any rubbing? I only see one on the Dinan site for the roadster and not the coupe. I'm looking to pick one up but want to make sure it fits!

From what i understand it is the same for both cars. Some of the bars around won't fit the M but the BMW version fits and obviously the Dinan version as well.

I have the Dinan for the M. Fits great. Doesn't impede suspension adjustments. Looks awesome.

My understanding is that the brace obstructs access to the oil filler cap on the non-M, or at least the Si cars. Mounting points are the same between cars.

As you have an M it shouldn't matter to you...

I'll ask, because will sooner or later someone will: Does anyone make a strut brace for the Z4Si which clears the oil filler cap?
