Detailing/color correction question
Hi, my car is going to need a nice wash/wax/clay. And probably in that order. Thing is I've seen a few threads and thy talk about color correction.
Now I love the results that those guys get.. See http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=49390 But what's this color correction business? Is that where they rub the clear coat back so it looks like new again? I would get it done by a pro, but they don't have them here in dxb. So I would like to do this myself if I can. I realise his will cost me a good few days, but the results look like its well worth it. Any help would be appreciated

Wash Clay Swirl removal (if needed but likely) Polish Sealant/Wax There are a few other layers that can be done but this is the basics. You can do all of it yourself. In terms of correction, that link you used seems to be talking about correction of scratches, marring, etc. |

Ultimately get on autogeek.net on their forums and look at the DIYs. A porter cable machine will be your best bet, but the pads, polishes....etc will need to be chosen based on what you want. You can always try this site: http://www.autopiaforums.com/forums/ There are ALOT of reputable detailers that are all around the world there. |
