1999 Z3 glove box latch broken

Okay folks, looks like now it's time I have to ask you something. My wife drives a 1999 Z3, which is cool. And recently she broke that glove box latch, so now she's having hard time opening it. And I was wondering, what do we do from there... Do we need to get the complete glove box door, or there is a way to simply replace the latch? If so, it it a must to order one from the dealer or I can simply grab something off ebay and make it work? I appreciate any reasonable ideas on this.

Hey there Boomer.
Unfortunately there is no Z3 forum here for her car .
You should find what you need on Bimmerfest or Bimmerforums

Oh I am sorry, I was browsing bimmerpost and came across the Z3 forum, so thought that that would be it. Thanks for sharing the other forums, I will save them for my records. Yet I managed to find the latch sold separately, which seems to be the right one (https://www.carid.com/glove-box-latches/). I will give it a try, and if it will be no good I will try asking on either of these two. Appreciate your reply, man. Have a good one!

And yes, I registered here because of my X5, as here is a lot of good info on the mods and maintenance. So I keep reading the threads when I have time.
