Nitto Nt 555
Well, I'm taking the plunge. Ruined a runflat so I'm going to the other side and going non-RFT's (can't say I'm disappointed). I just ordered the Nitto NT555 yesterday and hope to have them installed Friday.
Anyone have experience with these tires. Reviews were really good, especially for the price. |

You got the Nitto 555 Extreme Performance right? Not the drag radial? Cuz doesn't it snow in Ohio? lol...either case, I'm assuming you don't drive this car in the winter time, otherwise you're SOL

Not a fan of the Nitto NT555 tire. I had them on my M3 for a few years and they were a horrible tire. I would never buy again.

I've heard nothing but good things about the NT05. Did you consider those? I think they're a step up in terms of traction and classified with the max performance tires like the Star Spec and RE-11.
Mine are on but since it's winter, I haven't really taken them out. |

Yeah it was the regular street tire.

I hope I have better luck than those who say they don't like them. After coming off RFT's anything will be an improvement. |

I had them on my last car and they were super sticky out of the box and once you get about 6K on them they totally change to crap......especially in the rain.

Not a fan. For a true street tire I'd run the Toyo T1R, however I've since become a believer in the NT05 as a great all around street tire, while I do have to change them out more often, I get to use every bit of the car all the time on both the street and the track, and they where MUCH better in the rain than I thought.

^^Thanks for the advice guys. I figure these will be on the car for a year or two and I might eventually buy another set of wheels/tires. If I do I'll get some Zposters opinions instead of DiscountTire's posters!

I got mine from the DiscountTireDirect eBay store and they were great with customer service.
