Z4M Coupe OEM Battery Weight & Amps???

Hey guys,

Just wondering how much the Z4MC factory battery weights & what's the cracking amps? Thanks

Check Palantirion's mod thread on Bimmerfest. He removed the OEM battery and swapped in a lightweight race battery and smaller bracket. IIRC, it saved about 60lbs total.

4.5lb battery and 400CCA. It's as good as the OEM battery and 1/10th the weight.

Although they've significantly raised their prices from when they first introduced them.

& They were already expensive to begin with....
What we need is for this technology to expand, with other manufacturers.

I'd def. be giving the voltphreaks serious consideration if it were a little less expensive.
In the M it's also about the trunk space.

isn't OEM like 900CCA... aftermarket ones from like advance they are 900CCA for our cars. so i'd assume higher/around that much

I am looking at the Braille Batteries, I dont want to get a small batt and sacrifice performance.

I was seriously considering them when their 4.5lb battery was 500, I managed to secure 10% off, but after I saw how they raised their price, I doubt I'd consider them anymore.

Too expensive for what it is.

It's actually 900CA, 500CCA. But it carries a price tag of $800.
