Just some small journal by ariusen

Hey,

so as some of you know, I got my z4m about a month ago.

the car already had kw clubsport, PFC bbk, supersprint race muffler, solid subframe and differential bushings, recaro seats, welded cage, 6 point harness and a drift ebrake that i wont be using and the shop is removing for me today.

so I had a chance to test once the car at the track. Impressions? This car is AMAZING! I drove e92 m3, e46 m3 and my all time favorite s2k at the track and the z4m is the perfect car for me....its right between and m3 e46 and an s2k. it has the power of the m3 e46 and the agility of the s2k kinda.

So I went to the track with rs3 245/35/18 front and 265/35/18...didnt feel that much understeer like others stated, maybe its just the way of driving.

I just got fender pull to be able to run 275/35/18 square with re71r...will post my impression of the change later.

I will also keep updating my suspension settings, the try and errors, etc.

So here are the mods the car has today.
supersprint full exhaust race
superspring headers v1
jrz rs 2 with hyperco 700lbs/850lbs
ground control race camber plate
Ground Control Rear Articulating Spring Perches
Ground Control Rear Spring Alignment Perches
Ground control race Spherical Rear Shock Mounts
Aluminum differential and solid bushings
pfc bbk with pfc 07 pads

Job done over this past 2 weeks myself
engine, trans, diff, clutch, brake oil change,
new rotors and pads (old ones were bad already)
cdv delete valve gasket, spark plugs, spark plug gasket.

things that are to be installed.
just bought the FCAB recommended by inTgr8r
akg RCAB
Turner camber arms
AkG motor and trans mount

thanks everyone for many recommendations and tips. I sent pm to lot of people and everyone helped me a lot like intgr8r, the hack, vanne on whatsapp lol

I am not a picture guy, but I took a few. I will try to post more as my car is at the shop to remove drift ebrake, corner balance and alignment.

Once I get a chance ill upload track videos when i try this new mods.

this is a video of my e92 m3

he means how the steering wheel is connected to the steering shaft (boss kit) to match up the BMW end to the actual steering wheel bolt on bit.

those are ground control, but if you plan on getting it, I would get it from Turner or akg.
these I got from my friend. it was making knocking noise on his car right when he installed, but oddly on mine it doesn't make noise.

FWIW, Another option is R.Eng.
That's what I'm running, with spherical bearings and they have been great.
IRC the R.Eng are the only ones that have dust/dirt protection on the sphericals
