Kw clubsports front bolts

Hi guys, obtained myself a droolish set of KW clubsports, but looking at the pics, it looks like the strut bolts look a little short for my strut bar..??

http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1212804

How does that work? Can I get longer bolts from KW? Or does it come also with longer bolts in its kit?

kw can supply them to you no probs.

Are you aware the kit your buying doesnt have the stock KW supplied clubsport springs, the kit your buying is running a stiffer front setup and the rear appears to be running a stiffer linear spring form what kw supply the kit with ( i can tell by the shape of the spring), the stock clubsports are very capable and feel pretty god damn stiff as is, so just a heads up for you on this.... knowledge is power.

Well before you make those assumptions, you should get the facts straight.... Kw upgraded their spring rates from last year. You can just call them and confirm.
My e92 m3 kw clubsport had stiffer Springs than 2014 models..

Vanne, when you get the new studs you will have to press them in.
They have a knurled shank.
I was able to do mine in a bench vise, but it took some effort.

Not sure if I still have it, it was a while ago.
Seems to me someone posted it here; maybe crfine88

I'll see what I can dig up.

i didn't think or say you had something to hide.... but those are not the stock springs and i can prove that very easily.... not saying thats a bad thing or a good thing but that kit isn't with the stock KW springs. firstly its running a linear rear spring and kw NEVER supplied this kit with a linear rear spring, the stock KW spring is a cone shape progressive spring, code 2008.

second the front spring on the tock kit at 70nm, your kit had 100nm springs...

so not only are you wrong, your cousin is wrong too.... never once did i say your up to anything but i educated the buyer by saying those springs are NOT the stock springs for the kw clubsport, integr8r is in this thread. Ask him.....

i don't talk shit mate.

still a great deal and an incredible kit, don't be so defensive like I'm calling you out, whatever the springs its a great deal.

now if you need to finish this off by posting a pic of the part numbers in the actual manual, or even on the part themselves, I'm more than happy to do so....

on page 2 of the PDF manual from KW themselves is the stock clubsport spring numbers.look at the stock front spring designation 70-170.... your clearly is 100nm. End thread. KW have never and will never supply this kit with a linear rear spring, and they wouldnt supply a spring with the number 560 "written" on it with a sharpie .... so even if the fronts HAD changed ( which i haven't i rang KW uk and asked) the rears wouldn't be changed to a linear spring, thats been done aftermarket.

heres the UPDATED z4m instruction manual. , note your rear damper part number is 202 1111 (R for right) is also listed as the rear damper in that updated manual, so.... yeah my facts are right.

http://docs.kwsuspension.de/ea-KWCS-h35220834.pdf

so if your cousin didn't change the springs, then the kit was purchased from someone else that may had made the changes from sometime b4 he brought the kit, but they didn't leave the factory like that, again, don't call me out like I'm talking poo, i know exactly what I'm talking about.

equally your defensiveness on this is weird, I'm not saying its a bad change at all, just letting the OP know the full facts. simple as.

ask any Clubsport owner, infact their one in this thread if those are the stock KWCS springs.

Yup, not stock, but should be a nice setup.
It's what I was what I was considering with mine before I decided to go with MCS.

If you're running the OE strutbar built for the E85/86, the "holes" are countersunk and the nuts that came with it goes down further than just a plain-jane nut.

Can't say for sure for other strutbars made by 3rd party manufacturers.

Unfortunately this is the best shot I can find via teh google:

^ that's great.

With the KWs they ship with a shorter end link , as the design results in a shorter link than OE.
The nice thing with the adjustable links that he sent you is that you can adjust them to take the preload out of the front ARB.
