I have made my NA vs FI options much simpler.
Already have fabspeed headers installed.

NA:
-Evolve cf airbox with alpha-N tune.
-cams with performance followers, valve springs and retainters (Shrick 288/280)
-4.10 final diff

FI:
ESS VT2-525 supercharger kit

Let's discuss cost, maintenance, acceleration, response and track driving.
I would make sure Evolve solved their issues with the tune first in regards to the CF box. The latest I have heard it is not fixed and most of the guys that bought their box had to go with different companies software

I am also waiting for Evolve to fix thier issue first. If they couldn't then i am expecting they won't do a supercharger kit for our cars, cause they are doing one for the E46 with CF intake plenum. Imagine the sound!

What i mean by my post is getting a supercharger is a higher level in terms of power but still low in FI car category.

Staying NA is more reliable and with these mods takes the Z4M to high levels in NA category.

I'd argue that any significant deviation from stock - FI or NA - is going to come with a reliability penalty. A stroker motor with a CF intake, aftermarket cams, and mafless tune will have its own set of issues. Plus, the power will only be available near redline.

Since I've gone with a supercharger that puts out a whole lot of midrange torque, I rarely rev to redline any more... maybe once or twice a week.

Josh I agree although it's tough not to want to wring every pony out and the sound is glorious at 7000 revs
