I last washed mine in late December. Mine is white and gets dosed with detail spray and a microfiber towel twice a week.
I couldn't get away with this on a dark colored car however.

Ohhh. Microscratches galore! You gotta wash all the dirt off with a sponge before using microfibre or detailing sprays or you'll just rub little particles of dirt into your paint.

I wash mine once every 1-2 weeks.

Call me crazy......You're right, in theory, but in practice I've found that white cars respond very well to this method as long as they don't get really dirty. Of course there are "microscratches"......they're micro so I don't see 'em. Wax the car well two or three times a year and it's just fine. Once again, this won't work on black or other dark finishes.

I'd rather drive the thing than slave over a bucket and hose.

My kind of guy.

Wash the Z once a week on Friday night and QD twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday, before weekly meets.

I only get to drive the Z if I clean it. My wifes daily driver.

Whenever it starts to show dirt!!! --- black is only good for one or two trips, then I can't stand it anymore; out comes the bucket. But really it's a pleasure to wash the Z4; it's very small and I enjoy washing it, especially compared to my other ride---THE BIG BEAST:
