FS: BMS Z4M Mufflers

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Selling my BMS mufflers. They have been in use for about 35k miles since I bought them. They sound and look excellent. Drone is present around 2k RPM as is the case with nearly every exhaust with this car. Pictures were taken right when I took them off of the car - I will be cleaning them and can provide additional pictures and video if needed.

Asking $500 for them. Buyer is responsible for shipping (will provide discount through my high volume account) and fees. I will also meet someone within a reasonable distance of the NKY/Cincy area for pickup.

Edit: Cleaned them and posted new pictures 7/10

I have a set of these as well that I am embarassed to say I never put on my car. I have kept mine stock so wasn't sure if I should mess with the exhaust at this point or keep it as is. What was your overall impression of the sound?

I liked the sound a lot. The car was WAY too quiet without them. The only thing I didn't like was the drone at 2k RPM. Highway speeds were no issue but if you let it get bogged down in 6th at 50-55mph or so it could get loud. Take the character of the stock exhaust and just make it louder. No rasp and the deeper tone of the stock setup is maintained. Perhaps just as good as the sound is the looks. The mufflers sit a little higher in the bumper taking away the sagging look of the stock mufflers and the tips both fill up the openings and tuck nicely.

In other words, they look and sound great.

If you PM me your email, I can send you a video clip.
