New wide body kit for Z4M

Hi,

Do you know Slek designs? Preparing a new wide body kit for Z4M. Now it's just a render, but the first specimen will be ready between 2-3 months.

I like a lot. To you?

Rear

I like it.

It would look better on a roadster, but what wouldn't?

I think the key would be to keep it the same color as the car though.

Ditto...

Love the hardcore rear diffusor, it looks like it means business.

Unlike almost everyone, I like the front more than the rear. Let me explain ..

All wide body bodykits out there are looking like the GTR version which has in my opinion very ungly front with small intakes (makes sense because of aerodynamic but looks bad), so this is first really nice looking wide body I have seen.

The rear is just too much, especially the wing. Ditch it for a GT wing, make the rear less complicated and muhahah and it will be superb.

Love the spoiler. Love the kit. Hope it is not too wide. Tasteful and not over the top from the concept at least.

I noticed that too...
one slants back, the other slants forward.

like the front end style better than the rear end.

i like the idea of the foward slant as well, but i'm concerned that the loss of the iconic e85/6 line continuing down from the a-pillar will look... idk... wrong...

^sorry I meant front end styling not the slant. (fixed)

I'm with you, ...not sure that I would want to give up the OE line on the fender.

Very nice. The only things I dont care for is the lower center front just hovers above the lip (just bugs me for some reason) and the rear line between black and blue.

Now someone do a render of it on a roadster with CSLs and RPI exhaust

I like the front, not so the rear. The gap between the rear quarters reminds me of extra folds of skin on a Rhino. (hey, that's how I see it!)

slant on the rear pictures is nicer IMO, it keeps the OEM lines where teh side marker is

Nice concept effort. I like it. One thing to consider in the rear.....since these panels should be full replacement, the area near the tail lights will need to be built into the quarter panel. Otherwise, it appears as if the OEM 1/4 has been cut and left in place. It will look cleaner as well if redone this way. Just an opinion.

PS> I have a coupe hatch project in the works you guys may want to utilize to save on overlapped efforts market wise...........

As I put on our facebook page, I love it, but now I can get into nitpicking

The front angle (which was nto on the FB page):

- I like the front fascia, but mayeb extend the lip forward around the front a little more, maybe an inch or so...
- Like has been said, the foward slant in this pic doesn't flow so well with our natural lines. HOWEVER, i can see it working if it were made to flow back into the A pillar to keep the line. It's almost there in the pic now...It's hard to describe but I can see it working in my head.

The rear pic:

- I LOVE LOVE LOVE that diffuser!
- Keep it one color...
- The sideskirts are nice.
- I don't like the vertical reflectors. Seems kind of pointless since you have tail lights.
- On the topic of tail lights...that spot of bodywork between the light and the black area of the new panel looks...odd. I don't know how to explain it.
- The front panel. I (personally) don't like the extra 'swoop' created with the kit. take the idea all the way up to the natural line of the fender?
- *I* don't like the clear light, but that's me.
- Ditch the wing. GT wing all the way. If you're going to go aggressive, GO AGGRESSIVE! haha
- That black in between the light and the outside of the fender...is that a gap or just paint?

I'm not bad talking your ideas. I LOVE the idea of having a wide body kit for us. *I* most likely would never buy one since I'd probably never have a need...BUT

If you that style of diffuser and front fascia were made for the STOCK car, I'd be much more interested in spending my money...

Keep up the imagination and work!!

No pricing, it's just virtual tunning.

its gonna have to be well under $10k for it to sell, unless it provides huge weight savings
