Z4M Navigation Upgrade - Help

Hi Guys,

This is my first post, need some help

I have a BMW Z4M 3.2L 2006 Model
The navigation system is not uptodate. It doesnt seem to have any of the motorways built since 2006. Ive tried downloading some NAV stuff from torrents and scoured forums but links are outdated.

Any help on where to get the latest software for my nav system and info on installation would be much appreciated. I drive in Australia NSW.

Thanks

There are two discs that you put in the nav drive, one is a software update, the other is the map disc.

If you want updated maps, you need a new map disc. You can buy one from BMW for about $200. Or sometimes the nav computer can read burned DVD's

ya that is the problem. A lot of people have the 2007 maps which is outdated and to look for it on the torrents is not too successful. I know a member bought a bootleg version off a Romanian site for a lot less but honestly if I am going the bootleg route, I refuse to pay. Good luck

Thanks for that, I have written an email for them as nothing on the site says AU maps, it seems focused on Firmware. email i sent as below

Hi,

I have a BMW Z4M (e89) 3.2L 2006 Model
The navigation system FW is v32 updated, but maps are old. It doesn’t seem to have any of the Australian motorways built since 2006.
Any help on where to get the latest Map software for my nav system and info on installation would be much appreciated. I drive in Australia NSW.

Thanks

all e85/e86 use the save nav set up, it's exactly the same as pre idrive x3's and the nav computer is the save as the e46 and later e39
