New to the ZPOST!

Okay guys, I'm in. Picked up this 2008 Z4 3.0si Coupe last Thursday. It had 22,930 miles on it at delivery. Now I've got two N52's in the stable one with 271,000 miles and one with 23,000. I bought it at CarMax. Here are some photos from CarMax. I was lucky, it came with all the manuals except the telephone booklet, the bluethooth passkey, and all three keys. I'm changing the oil today. CarMax changes it, but I've got no idea what filter and oil they used.

Man am I glad I did an oil change. The oil was very fresh, but CarMax used a CARQUEST oil filter, which apparently didn't fit very well because it started to crush. She's now got good 'ole BMW 5W-30 and a Mann oil filter. Whew!

I inspected the entire car while it was in the air. It's in really good shape. I few missing parts. All to be taken care of soon. I really like this car.

Congrats.... Great looking car. I had a loaded silver/grey E86 and enjoyed it very much. Where are you located in MD? I'm near Columbia.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. So here's the really cool thing; my Wife has a 1997 Z3, the last three digits of her VIN are the same as the last three digits of the Z4. Built in the same factory. Karma...

It's beautiful. Congrats!

But you are going to love - hate that colour - it's only clean for the first 5 minutes after washing. But for those 5 minutes it looks gorgeous.
