Tan/Beige Floor Mat Question
This will probably go down as one of the nit pickiest questions posted on here in a long long time LOL. I own a Saphire Black 3.0i Roadster with the tan/beige interior so obviously it came with the tan floor mats, the problem I have with the tan OEM floormats is that they say Z4 in chocolate brown. The brown is just so out of place on my car with the dash being black the seats and door panels being tan, some aluminum trim peices on the dash and black exterior.
I have looked for tan mats with black Z4 logos or tan mats with no Z4 logo whatsoever but had ZERO luck. I even went to the dealership a put a set of black ones in to see how it would look (looked like crap if you were wondering). No I am contemplating a set of tan mats with the M logo but I don't want to cross the poser line and have people thinking that I am trying to claim my non-M is an M. Any help would be appreciated...I hate the brown HELP!!!! |

I bet you could find something you like at www.cocomats.com. They will even send you a free sample of what they look like. They seem to be really high rated. I picked up a set of black and red for my car a while back and the quality is top-notch.

Try www.bavauto.com -- they have mats that while they do not have the BMW logo, they will embroider the model you have...I am sure tans can be had with Z4 on them...and no M. Try that... good luck.

I'd just get the tan mats with the M logo. BMW made an e83 X3 that comes with no less then 7 M logos on it from the factory. There is nothing wrong with M mats in a 3.0i

M mats are fine, especially if they look good, it's not like you're throwing an M badge on the back of the car or anything.
I would've thought the black mats would look good plus easier to keep clean lol |

+1 for Cocomats. The M mats are of shoddy quality IMHO. Had 'em with my car when new, quickly replaced with black w/blue dots cocomats. Awesome quality.
Here's black w/tan dots in my Mini...
