HAMANN vs Active Autowerke's ECU reprogramming for 3.0si
Hi guys.
I found on the Hamann website that they also offer an ECU reprogramming for the 3.0si. Up until now I have been considering the Active Autowerke's product (I hope the link is to the correct product for the N5 2 engine), BUT seeing as Hamann is also a big name with BMW, I was wondering if anyone has tried their software and could provide some insight. Thanks |

Ok then. As it appears no one has the Hamann flash, so I would like to ask the following:
Of all the people that have the AA flash, has anyone noticed even the slightest engine running temp increase? |

I just took a quick look over at the e90 forums and they seem to have high praise for the AA tune. Sorry i can't be any help, but definitely looking forward to your results There's just not much out there for us 3.0si guys.

Well I wrote to Hamann about a price quote but they have not yet replied... I am guessing the price might have something to do with its popularity. I have also written to a few of their dealers in Europe and have received no reply yet, and its been close to 10 days now. |
