HAHAHA!!!! It really depends how far you're measuring. I got "meatballed" Laguna Seca at 94.8 and I only had stepped headers and mufflers back then... AND I wasn't even WOT! The solution was to short shift to fourth and cruise like a "granny" between curves 5 & 6... Hahaha!

I've got a Diablo exhaust on my car, and the only thing keeping me from selling it is the bath I'd take selling it used + installation/deinstallation fees. Whoo hoo, the car is louder, yay. It will never sound as good as a V8, and people who put some cans on our cars and come on here saying "omg, it's exotic sounding now!" are beyond moronic. Our cars will NEVER be mistaken for a Ferrari or a Lambo coming down the street, people need to be honest. Mustang GT V8s destroy our cars in the audio department, hell even those Nissan V6s they stick in ten billion G35, 350Zs etc. sound way better than our cars. RPI exhaust is the worst, awful, horrible sound comes from that system. I took a shot on the Diablo, but I should have just left it stock. Finally, please don't mention "F1" anywhere near a post regarding our engines. Short of a Pagani Zonda, or a Carrera GT with open pipes, nothing comes close to an F1 symphony. I've traveled to various places around the world to witness the glory that is F1, and your car in no way resembles 18k RPMs on the streets of Monaco. ;P Cool car though. |

Haha Nicky, I merely said that I personally feel that the SuperSprint setup gets this motor CLOESEST to F1 sound moreso than the other brands out there. Not that it's cloes in any way per se, but closer at least than any of the other ones out there.
Taste like this is subjective obviously, since I have a friend that I know would totally disagree with you on the notion that BMW's inline six sounds like dirt compared to a V8 muscle car. For me, I can appreciate everything, so I don't bash. I just have my own personal preferences is all =] |

Do you have any trouble with O2 sensor readings with the SS Step headers?

I don't own a Mustang, nor have I ever. I was simply pointing out how absurd your comment was.

lmao @ half-chub. i must have taken a Bimmer-Cialis, bc mine was a rager after that clip. And personally, I'm a mustang guy. Brand name aside, if someone told you about a car with those specs, I'm sure you'd be into it. And that Boss edition? damn that's sexy. But the best part about cars is their subjectivity. Dont like mustangs? Great. Love 'em? thats cool too. makes the world go 'round. No judgments here |

You're right. If I closed my eyes and heard about the new Boss (C&D had a review that compares it to the second coming) and read it's specs for the price... I'd fall over myself trying to purchase it.
However, then my eyes would open and I'd see that it's a Mustang. And in my brain, that's a tough thing to justify sinking my hard-earned $$$ into, regardless of performance. Eccentric... you're absolutely right. No judgments, only opinions. OP --> SS FTW! |
