1)Now I don't think it is good idear to put a ipad there after two years improving.It covers AC control panel which you use often.It is a little inconvenience to move away ipad. You do not take iphone and ipad together always. But it is funny when driving out with a friend in night.

2)I use this solution now.



3)You can find x3 screen solution in ebay.

4)On screen display hardware can be put under ashtray.

Curious if X3 screen cut-out would require cutting out further of the existing NAV in the dash?? If so, not sure I would do this. I don't like doing anything that means you can't return things to stock. But that's just me. Otherwise this is a very decent modification.

Yes. If I had OEM Nav I would not too. I like everything about z4 e85 ecept of the electronic systems.

By the way you can try to use OEM DVD input line to synchronize mobile phone to oem screen.
