Exhaust compare non-M

Hi All, I was looking for an exhaust for my 3.0si coupe. Quite a few to choose from. I really like a more raspy metallic sound, so I went with the Eisenmann. They seem to be very high quality, hand built in Germany, and been in business since 1988. And they and Capristo are the only ones that offer a quad exhaust, although I went with a single sided. I've heard some really good things about their products, so we shall see...

Here are a few others to consider. They all have their pros and cons. Its all a matter of choice. Unfortunately, its hard to judge sound from a youtube video. The same exhaust can sound phenomenal in one video and terrible in another. I will say that I think the Capristo sounds insane, but its super expensive.

Check these out, and enjoy!:

Thanks for these vids. I'd never heard the Stebro exhaust before and it's now making me rethink which exhaust to buy.

I've got a few youtube videos for the non-M M54 cars. My channel is pokeybritchesz4. I did before and after comparos with stock, Supersprint Y-Pipe and race exhaust, and then another adding headers.

with me not having an ///M I too didn't want to spend a lot on an exhaust not knowing exactly how it would sound so I just cuz off the muffler and straight piped it from the resonator I'm really happy it has a deep rumble and moderate rasp best 100 bucks to date

Is it easy to cut the other side for quad exhaust pipes? Since we don't have a spare tire is it easier to route the piping?

There are threads around, I found this on Z4Forum a while back
Takes a bit of work

Thank you!

In the time being I'd like to make my stock exhaust louder. Is there any way to do that? I've tried searching with no luck.

That capristo does sound nice. What's the cost? I can't even find an application for z4 on their site.

I posted this elsewhere but thought I would add it to this thread for comparison purposes. The exhaust system is completely stock other than the muffler. I think it sounds fairly decent. Not too loud and not too quiet either. Although it's rather pricey and took two months to get here from Germany. Enjoy!
