I bought a mechanical belt tensioner a few years ago from Rocky Mountain European Auto Parts (http://www.rmeuropean.com/) as the OEM version was no longer available for my 2003 3.0L. Maybe they'll have what you're looking for?

If your Z4 is a 2.5 liter before 2006, then you need to look for a pulley kit for an M54B25 motor, which is commonly equipped in an E46 325i (Coupe, Sedan, Wagon, Vert). If your Z4 is a 3.0 before 2006, you need to look for a pulley kit for an M54B30, which is commonly equipped in an E46 330i (same variant as above). If your Z4 is a 3.0 liter AFTER 2006, then you need to look for a pulley kit for an N52B30 similar to an E9x 328i. If your Z4 is a 3.0Si, you'll need to look for a pulley kit for N52B30 similar to what's equipped in an early E89 SDrive3.0i, an X1 xDrive2.8, or a 130i. If your Z4 is a 3.2 liter S54, then you can look for E46 M3 pulleys. They should fit.

I bought an aluminum water pulley kit with a belt from ecs tuning and an OE alternator pulley. Do you guys think an OE pulley is s good replacement? Or should I purchase an aftermarket like the aluminum water pump pulley.
