Thanks. I may eventually go with Stromung, since they're only "down the street" from me. Now...only if I can convinced myself to spend the money just for the aural pleasure

One of the surprises yesterday at the Exhaust 'Fest was Gferil's exhaust. Generic resonators (he's not sure of brand) in place of stock cans with very nice dual tips. Sounded great outside and inside the car (less drone actually than my Diablos). Cost? Under 400 bucks!

Hahah...thanks Finnegan! One caveat though...I did line the floor and back horizontal wall of the trunk with Dynamat, so that might be a cause for less drone than the Diablos, because before I did that the drone was MUCH louder to the point where it was unbearable on the freeway. I am planning to do a little more of the trunk and hopefully that will get rid of that mild drone I have at around 3K RPM.

But yes, overall, I am very happy with my setup, and thanks for taking my car for a spin yesterday so I could hear what it sounds like from outside the car!

Aestheticstorm will have video of it (idle, 5K and WOT driveby and easy throttle driveby) pretty soon, along with comparisons to a whole bunch of other systems (same conditions, equipment, etc.) from today's Exhaust 'Fest.
Thank you, looking forward for the clips!

I have sounds for my setup. Euro headers and cat, RE X-Pipe, and Stromung Exhaust. The camera is about 3 feet away and max rev is 6k RPM.

It has a slight drone between 1800-2000 RPM. It is not loud at cruising at 70 mph. I can carry a normal conversation with passenger.
