Soft top folding/creasing - where are the proper folding points?

Today I put the soft top down and it seemed to get hung up because the fabric kind of folded j in a way that interfered with the passenger's side roll hoop. I never really looked before but I noticed that the area there was pretty wrinkled. Are there folds/crease points that are designed from the factory? If so can someone take pics so I can try to encourage the soft top to fold at those points only?

My top does the same thing. Has it done this all the time? I'm not sure. I only noticed recently because I'm in the process of trying to figure out why my top isn't ending up flush to the rear deck when opening. If I find out anything I will keep you posted.

Nope, the first time it did this was yesterday.

I believe there are nylon straps which can stretch out over time(or tear). This could be your issue.
