z4 navigation problem?

Hi guys, I have noticed that when I want to use the navi on my z4m and I want to see the highlighted route on the map when Im getting directions, the highlighted route is white which is very similar to the beige color of the map. This makes nearly impossible for me to see the route. Is there any way to change the color? And is there any way I can get an updated map with current businesses for the gps? Thanks

The highlighted route should be white. You could probably change the color of the line with NavCoder or NavTweak . You might also try switching to the other color scheme in settings to see if that helps you.

Yea, the default white line is hugely annoying.

I used NavTweak to change the line to bright purple.

Go look at the stickies in the "Navigation" forum at xoutpost.com

Thanks for the help guys, I guess Im going to try to use the sticky, but it seems really complicated. One last thing, is there any way to update the GPS database? Businesses and attractions change all the time, so the navi becomes outdated very quickly. thanks

Yes, you can get updates from Navteq for $200, but their current "update" is over a year old - released 9/2008.
