Matt Farah drives a z4m coupe / The Smoking Tire

Kind of wish he took the car on a more technical road... But all in all a good review.

Matt was indeed enjoying the ride and didn't give out too many comments on the car itself...LOL

terrible choice of road for that video. i live 15 minutes from there, there are like half a dozen roads in 20 minute radius that are way more interesting (curves, hills, etc.).

I saw a glim of your car in one of his other video (the C6 Z06, I believed) a few days ago and was wondering when he was gonna post a video of the Z4M coupe. Very cool that someone finally brought on an M coupe for him to review

Yeah I thought I would offer him to do it after I saw the Z3 M coupe s52 review where they said it doesn't need the extra power. I thought it could be fun for him to compare, and for us to showcase our little under appreciated gem.

Awesome car! Matt can be tough to impress... that "tuned" Prius episode was a really painful one to watch

lol, just watched that Z06 episode, the one he drove before yours Raf, made me laugh a bit. Your car looks sweet man, sides the old wood paneling, making me think your driving a ski lodge. ;D

nah, looks great mate

You know what, I hate veneer in cars usually. But I love it in the M coupe, I don't know why. I find the carbon leather a little tacky and the aluminium a little plain to be honest. At least that's my taste.

I think Matt was pleasantly surprised by the car. He hangs out with Chris Harris who did not like this car when it came out, so I'm guessing he was on that impression. What he said on camera is pretty much what he said off camera as well, he could have driven it all day!
The other thing is that he started the rounds of driving with the Z06 that is a monster torque machine (that thing was really sweet), so the s54 is a totally different experience.

That was fun to do !

Still he should have taken a more twisty road where the z4 shines imho.

The road you took is maybe more suited for an M6 or merc SL (or bentley for that matter).
Nice road, but not to discover the Z4's strong points. The z4 is still more of a nimble sportscar than a GT cruiser.
