The back seats are fairly useless if you are typical height and have the front seats adjusted for comfort and/or correct driving position.
1 is smaller but weighs only marginally less than the 3 series. Having had this motor in our old 335 (modded) I would not take the N54 motor over the S54 motor in the Z4M and if I was buying new would pick up an M3 with the S56. Nothing beats a high revving NA motor IMO.

i had two e92 m3's they were ok but there big cars and weighed in close to 3700 pounds with a race seat and light weight rims and other bolt on suspension and such its just a big car the 135i is dominating most races against the m3 and 335i cause of it ability to have less weight and more power . plus its a shorter wheel base which always helps.
