SES Light Assistance
Hey Guys
I just bought my new (to me) Imola M coupe on Sunday. It is a 2007 with 51k miles. The drive home was about a 6 hour trip that went very well. However, next time I started it, the SES light remained on. I reset the light at pep boys just to see if it would come back. I was hoping it was just the adjustment to CA fuel mixture. Unfortunately it did come back, so I dug up my old laptop with BMW INPA. Below is the error screen. I removed the crank case vent tube to check to make sure it was sealed well. Nothing seemed wrong, so I cleaned it a bit and hooked it back up. Anyone have any experience with this? Seems strange. The car is running great, but I need to figure this out so I can SMOG it. |

There's another hose (drain hose) on the bottom of the intake manifold (3).
Make sure that hasn't fallen off. There's also a dingus on the vent hose. Probably a solenoid valve. Check the connector and, if you can, Ohm out the solenoid.
