Your steering wheel is on the wrong side man...just thought I would point that out!

Best mod to the car I've done so far.
Regarding the MFSW buttons not working and assuming you had a MFSW before - I had this issue putting a new M wheel into a 04 z4 - all I did was undo the button controls of the M wheel and replaced them with my 'old' MFSW button controls. Worked like a charm, and I have a nice two tone steering wheel now to match my dash trim. Will post pics shortly. |

I would definitely find an M Z4 (coupe/roadster) first to try the feel - some people have commented it is too thick, but I think it is perfect for my larger hands. EDIT: MFSW - Multi Function Steering Wheel controls - buttons for volume up/down, track up/down, phone and phone mute |

My only complaint about the M wheel is that it's too round; the 2000-2003 Honda S2000 steering wheel feels better in my hands as they fall more naturally in place.
But at least the MZ4 has steering feel, while the S2000 steering feels totally numb and like a video arcade game... |

In Germany you can order it with tri-color or black stitching, MFSW or non-MFSW.

if i recall correctly, the tri-stitched wheel is about double the price of the black stitched. the black stiched was about 4-600 and the tristitched was about 1k

I believe he is mistaken. The part numbers are the same and they look identical. I may order the chrome line trim someday and replace the MSFW spokes on mine as I think it would look good with the aluminum trim. The bottom spoke will need to stay black as there is no ///M chrome line bottom spoke available.
