^tt's rather steep even for an extremely low mileage, cpo-ed example. moving into the winter months, i'm sure u can get tt price down. i'm assuming shipping from arizona to washington to be $1000 tops, so i'd pay $33k out the door max.

edit: also, being a lease return, having 256 miles on the odo before being registered (might've been test driven multiple times), 1500 miles on the clock before the 1200 mile first oil service (not quite such a big deal) also ought to give u some weight to bargain the price down.

Yea it is a bit steep.

I mean its 2500 to CPO a car and 4000 in taxes and licencing.

That on top of a car that Blue books for 34000 anyway.

Just thinking outloud here.

^not quite. i do understand the kbb value with similar mileage, options, cpo for an 07 is $38,200, but i definitely feel that's over-valued given the current market for m coupes. granted, this is an extremely low mileage example that probably did not need cpo whatsoever (request for the cpo report), though comparable examples can definitely be had for much less than $38k shipped for an '07. unless this car is in the exact color, trim and options that you want, i'd suggest looking elsewhere?

edit: whopping $4k in taxes and licensing?

It is the exact color and trim that I want....but I agree does seem high...well high for a Z4M which should be a good deal.

Their pricing is totally off the wall. 2007 low mileage (20,000 or so) Z4M coupes can be had for $27,000, and coupes are going for a modest premium over roadsters.

I don't understand how these cars have such low milage. I guess they're not used as daily drivers? I have an '07 with 53K miles...

I bought a while back (Sept 2010) a 2006 Z4 3.0i with just 4013 miles... yes, it was barely driven...perfect shape... and not even driven every weekend... Of course I now have closer to 5000 miles on it...but had to put it away for the winter...yes...snow sucks!

That being said...I know a few others with 'fancy' cars who never drive them...me ....other than not driving in winter... I will daily drive this as much as possible.

I agree with you.

OP: Tell them you will give them $29,000 cash and I guarantee it sells. I bought a 2008 with 18000 miles for $28800 out the door with tax and extended care package from a BMW dealer.

Times are tough. Thats way too much. I would tell them to pack sand at that price.

27k out west would be, imo, a hell of a good deal. I would think more like 28 - 29. I shopped extensively earlier this summer, and the only ones at that price had been wrecked.

regarding the price: even at that milage, I think 38k is a bit much. I saw some earlier this summer with similar milage, etc for ~35-36. they were also cpo'd.

That's a great deal! My recent purchase was for $27.5k for a CPO '07 w/22k miles. But I live in California so the taxes were...not so fun... Taxes in OR are nil. Must be nice (I grew up in Oregon, I might be back soon)

I like the no taxes also. I shopped around for 2 years and finally found two in Seattle.

$4k in taxes and licensing?? There should be NO tax if you're an out-of-state buyer. Ridiculous.

You pay tax and licensing in the state you reside in. If I buy a car from WA, AZ or wherever I pay 9.75% tax + licensing.

The car IMO is priced right +$1K or so. Shipping would cost around $1K.

OP I would jump on it as you probably will never find a near new Z4M with that type of mileage on it. Your chance to have a pratically new Z4M still. Offer $36-$37K (Which is $31K-$32K before tax, license and shipping) and see if they jump on it.

Some of you are crazy to think this car will sell in the $20Ks. Z4Ms are holding their values steady now and with mileage this low, forget about that.

I just read your thread and then did my usual local craigslist trolling for BMWs and found this. NOT MINE, NO KNOWLEDGE WHATSOEVER!!!! Probably not the best color combo, but low mileage!

Trust me if he walks in with $29,000 in 100 dollar bills this car will sell. Mine did. Thats a fact and nobody is crazy, its reality. Times are tough.
