Z4 N52 3.0SI DISA valve ( Smaller unit)

Hello,

I had the following fault code:
2AAC not present
DME: Variable intake system 2, self-diagnosis

I checked the DISA ( larger one ) and it was fine.
so it must be the smaller DISA that is not functioning properly.

IF I replace the smaller DISA what changes should I expect to see? since it's an involved process.
I want to see if it's worth it. I were to do I will be buying the repair kit.

Thanks in advance.
