First track day in my Z4MR also with dead DSC/ABS Module

As the title says, decided to do a shake down on my Z4MR at Laguna Seca, but have not had a chance to get to the bad module.

Quick background on me, I've got I believe 42 or so days in my E92 M3 and F82 M4, so I felt confident in my abilities to control this thing with no ABS.

To say it was a handful would be an understatement, but managed to avoid the violent side to side shaking on braking when locking up by keeping the brake inputs less decisive than I normally would. Went on stock pads and fluid, managing consistent 1:46's. Terribly low compared to my Laguna pb of 1:41.11, but overall pretty impressed by the S54 in this thing.

Noticed oil temps creeping up, so going to explore possible upgrade, maybe the CSF.

Either way I will try to chronicle by track build on this thing over the next few months as I get ready for hopefully a busy track schedule this Fall-Spring.

Side to side violent shaking?? Sounds like something isn't quite right there. Further investigation required. Thanks for the write up.

Module rebuilt, majority of bushings replaced with solid.
Engine and trans mounts now poly. One engine mount was completely shot(inner completely ripped from rubber)
I usually like to do one mod at a time to see the effect, but in this case I had my car up on the lift and decided to go all in.

Hopefully that sorted your braking issue.

Sorry just saw this. I like the Motul RBF660. Reasonably priced, and I have never overheated this stuff.
