WTB: APR 10cm splitter support rods
I shipped my splitter to a member here, and the rods fell out of the box. Does anyone have an extra set?

I still have mine (which I'm not going to use). But I ghetto-painted them black. Mind stripping the paint yourself?
I'll sell for $10 + actual shipping costs. edit: I forget where I put them actually lol..will hafta look around. But lemme know if you're interested in the meantime. |

haha k, lemme get back to you tomorrow then. Going to look around the garage and try to find them. I know I stashed them somewhere...
On a sidenote, I've already tracked twice with the splitter on the car without the use of these support rods. I figured 13 different secure locations using bolts and lock nuts were more than enough to keep the splitter on the bumper, and I was spot on |

no biggie, I sold my splitter to someone and the rods were lost during shipment. For some odd reason its off by an inch on his bumper, so he's sending it back. I'm gonna put it back on my car, with no rods, and have it stick out only 30-40% as much as normal, to make it look less brash and out of place, and clear bumps better when I get my H&R springs this week

I've not had a problem as of yet with clearance on mine. I made the rear-most part of the splitter sit flush with the front wheel well/plastic fender liner, and the splitter sticks out approximately 2 inches or so. Also, my suspension isn't all that low.
No-one should have clearance issues especially if you give the car a nice angle of approach for driveways and such. My MR2 is literally like an inch or so off of the ground because it has a relatively longer-overhang front bumper, and I slapped on a CF/fiberglass plank on it. If I can clear driveways with that setup, I'm sure anyone can clear with Z's =] |
