Question about Bumper Interchangeability

Hey all. So my 2005 Z4 is in need of a new bumper, and as luck would have it, the BM1000175 is out of stock everywhere, but BM1000150, which are specified for the 2003-2004, are everywhere. I've been going over photos, and they look exactly the same. Will my 2005 take a 2003-2004 bumper just fine, or will I lose something in the process or will it not fit at all?

Thanks again.

AFAIK - all Z4's pre-2006 had the same bumper cover.

Perhaps the difference in part numbers are with or without the headlight washer cover holes?

Otherwise, there should be no difference (don't know why 1 cover would be specific to JUST the 2005 model year since they completely changed the front bumpers for 2006-2008). I believe the mounting points (behind the bumper cover) remained unchanged all the way to 2008 since some folks with the earlier models have installed the later bumper covers.

Thanks for the response! The place I ordered a BM1000175 JUST told me they were actually out of stock, so I might just take a chance on the 50 unless someone can convince me otherwise (never used the headlight washers anyway).
