Tips in putting back the side mirror?
Hi,
I've removed the mirror caps to plasti dip them. Any tips on how to put the mirrors back on? I understand there is a little notch that needs to be slid back (the reverse of removal) but I can't seem to get it to slide and lock. Any tip would be appreciated. Thanks! |

I found it easier to do from the bottom with the bottom cover removed, rather than from the top as explained in the TIS.

On the M mirrors there's a small cover on the bottom held on by a couple of screws.
With that cover off, I found it much easier to rotate that locking disc. ...that's funny, I never thought about the type R, but I see what you mean. It's actually a derivative of occupation (systems integrator)
