Open face vs Full face helmet for autocross

As far as the Chatterbox, or Microphone system goes, the full face might help reduce wind noise on the mic vs the open face, although I suspect a lot of that has to do with the age or feature level of the chatterbox as some might have noise cancellation built in.

Rally racing helmets are often open face. But they are fully caged too.
