Stripes????

I found these on another website and ya know this looks pretty dang good IMO anyway. Its a really BOLD and in your face look for sure.
Don't know if I would do it but, what do ya'll think?

Looks pretty good, but reminds me too much of the Shelby Cobra. Guess I think the Z4M has a distinctive look, and I'm not sure how I feel about the Cobra-esque association.

But, as I always say, it's your car, and appearance mods are a very subjective and personal thing. What matters is how much you like it!

If you do go with this, it might be worth doing in vinyl so that it can be easily removed if you find yourself wanting a different look down the line.

I do like the strips on the back and top. Not sure about the front. Need better angle.

The strips look really good on the blue.

Actually it doesn't look half bad. But it does remind me a lot of a shelby daytona coupe. Maybe that's not a bad thing though... a modern day german version of the daytona coupe. =)

Vinyl would be an easy way to try it out.

I was considering doing an entire car wrap next year (for something different than black), but this idea is cheaper and may give that different look I was after.

I like the Viper GTS nostalgia on Interlagos Blue. Not crazy about the other options. Stripes on a non-American sports car looks off.

Some of the others aren't bad though.
I must admit I have thought about the Motorsport stripes at times.

Strictly a track car...
on a street car.... too tacky..

it all depending on which direction you're going and what's the purpose of your car.

Going for shine elegant or racy track car...

I like the stripes if I don't really drive it on the street...

that's pretty close. that is the 599 novitec rosso (sp?)... i think the stripe curves a bit. take a look at this.

the yellow stripe across the hood kinda looks like someone was thinking of wrapping the car up as a gift but lost interest, hideous IMO. I really like the GT stripes but that may be because it's a race car and has the fantastic wide-body

I might do a complete vinyl wrap on my car and maybe I will go with the BMW Motorsport stripes but in black and grey instaed of red and blue.

I like the more subtle color schemes like this (or the oposite, gloss black with a matte black stripe), but the classic blue and white double stripe looks good!
