260k, wow.
We have a new overall winner, but I still claim the ///M high miles at 151k.

Makes my 89k miles Z4MR not seem so high mileage anymore.

What have you had to do so far?

Pretty regular stuff I expect to do eventually. Keep on driving!

'06 Z4 M Roadster, build date 04/2006, just over 50,000 miles.

Bought used in July 2012 with ~32,000 on the odometer. Original, first registered owner, from the Bay area, bought it off the lot from an LA dealer as a "dealer demo" car in 2007 and drove it back to the Bay area. Five years later he traded it in on an X3, and I flew up to the Bay area, bought it from that dealer, and drove it back to San Diego.

The original owner didn't do the first inspection service so I did it shortly after buying it with help from a friend with an E46 M3 who had done his car and had the shim kit. The car hasn't needed hardly any maintenance since then besides oil changes. I've replaced the cup holders a couple of times and I just replaced the windshield washer pump. I also had the transmission and diff fluids replaced last month at 50,000 miles.

... with such low miles, of course these cars will have ZERO issues. I don't own a Z4M but just remember the cost of these are equivalent to the e46M3 no? Same engine anyways. I just don't understand why you would buy the car and keep it "low" miles when you should enjoy it at all cost. If anyone who owns a Z4M and wants to keep it low miles to prevent maintenance costs then you bought the wrong car in my opinion. Just drive the damn thing and maintain it like you should. Any car that has been maintained well enough should run forever. I don't know. Just my opinion that no one should ever keep the miles low just because they want to avoid major problems. Major problems wouldn't come if the driver takes care of it in the first place. Just my 2 cents advice. My z4 3.0i 2004 runs perfectly fine at 136k. Previous owners handed over the title at 115 and since then the car hasn't died on me. I did the smg pump replacement and most things that needed to be replaced which did cost me a fortune and i'm fine with that. But anyone who complains about maintaining the cost of these cars really shouldn't be driving these little roadsters.

Speaking for myself only - my low mileage has nothing to do with concern for "preventing maintenance costs" and everything to do with keeping it looking perfect. I took it to a recent event at a track and a guy there with me in his brand new 911 couldn't believe my car had under 20k miles at 11 yrs of age. I can't stand thinking of what may happen when I park at lot with disrespectful drivers around. Just had to repair a huge dent in my Tacoma DD's door which appeared after I took it out one afternoon. It was a pain in the rear to get it mostly fixed by PDR. Don't want that to happen to my MR.

2006 MR, bought about a month ago with 57K miles. I passed on another 2006 MR with 39K miles, as it didn't look like it was well loved. It had some paint oxidation on the trunk, the rubber around the windshield was all dry rotted and it had the SRS light showing on the dash. The MR I bought has minor issues in comparison.

Makes perfect sense. I also try to keep the car in perfect condition but wouldn't that also defeat the purpose of having the car? Constantly worrying about dents and such. I do too but I try to enjoy the car while I still have it.

I enjoy it for sure (I have added 10k miles to the car since I purchased her). She gets taken out, just not as often as a lot of others take theirs out. I also consider where I am going before deciding to take the M. If it involves parking lots I won't take the BMW unless I know there will be areas I can park well away from others.

Doesn't it suck that it has to be this way today? Why can't people respect another's property and NOT park right on top of you. I've got a great dent repair guy here in town that has saved me a few times, but I sure do hate to have to use him

I'll hit 160k miles on the way home tonight.
Still running great. Looks like hell.
Been up in the Mojave most of the last 2 weeks.
Got a few new chips. Covered in bugs and dust. Bird guts on the grills.

On my way up this afternoon. Land Spout!
