I know this has been brought up, by my plan was to do something like this for when parked, then tuck it when driving:

I thought about that. What concerns me is what happens when you scrape something like a parking block or sharp upslope in the road. This thing hangs down below what is already a long/low nose. Seems pretty vulnerable.

If you hit the plate where this is mounted, you've wrecked your car, lol.

Not necessarily. I of course try to avoid it, but there have been a few times I have scraped the underside of the front spoiler, gently enough to not damage the car other than scraping the rubber lip on the underside. This has happened driving up steeper curb cuts a few times. If the nose does make contact, I'll stop and approach it a different way. But that initial contact point would be the license plate bracket, which it probably hanging down an inch below the spoiler. So it becomes much easier to bottom out the front, and I imagine even a small contact could damage the thing.

I'm not able to view your video. it's possible it's set to 'private' on your FB page?

I was in a hurry when doing it. No pix either. Its a pretty straight forward install.

Bumper cover comes off, a few holes drilled, lower grille gets a rectangle trimmed out, test fit a few times and wire up. It does require the use of a right angle drill for the added triangulated braces.

One note....I've installed this unit as far back as possible, it even touches the condenser. I say this for those who feel it should be more hidden. But that also would keep the plate from full function display.
