I am happy with the power...not quite as much as my old GTI, but certainly no slouch, and way more entertaining

Do you do HPDE's? Id love to hear how those brakes do. that conversion sounds very interesting, I really want those Porsche style "toaster brakes" with the easy pad swapping...

I have done a few autox's but not track time yet

I don't think this set up will be much different as far are dissipating the heat since the rotor is the same. But they will clamp harder, and according to the calculations on the m3 forums they as .1% more rear bias(nobody would notice haha)

I will be running hawk ceramics and hopefully ate super blue

Not quite direct, rally road sells the from brackets(their rears don't work too well) plus all the lines. P0lar on m3forums sells the rear brackets

Almost forgot, you need 5.5 mm machined off the front mounting surface

Almost, its a great buy if you find a good deal on them used. You wouldnt save much money otherwise. Lots of threads about it on m3forum.

I installed my new to me strong strut bar last night, it looks great, super stealthy, but I think I'll powdercoat it to match my wheels.

I also noticed the oem firewall brace had completely cracked through. I noticed a hairline crack where it has the slight notch, but I didn't see how bad it was until last night

Are you referring to the bracket or the caliper? Would love to learn more about this setup.

The brakes are out for powder, and should be done soon. And only a few weeks until the new wheels are due in....I'm getting super anxious haha
