Fuel tank + fuel pump DIY

Both of my fuel level sensors failed and my car's acceleration is rough. Dealership said I need to replace the fuel tank (left sensor) along with the fuel pump. I didn't want to pay ~$1200 for them to do it, so I figured I could do it myself or take it to a buddy's shop and get the help.

Is there a DIY for this? I found a fuel pump DIY on here but it's not very helpful and doesn't include photos.

Any help is appreciated!
