That's statistically highly improbable.
I'd be suspicious. Did you check the fuse? Can you test the horns yourself?

Darn good question.
The only time I remember seeing mine was when I had the front bumper cover off. I just went out and probed around with a flashlight and I can't find them. Ahhh! A search shows that Finnegan has already solved this one.

I had the high tone go out on my '03, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. It's not too hard to remove the front bumper to get to them, and it'll be worth the time to do so instead of reaching up/around plastic panels to get to them on either side.

I replaced both with after market ones and they would work once or twice and they would stop working after that.... I checked the fuses and they were both OK. I went on line and I read to replace the 5 fuse for a 25 amp/volts not sure how that's measured... but yeah.... use a higher capacity fuse and give it a try. Make sure the sure the car Key is not in the eng when changing the fuse.
