FS: 2007 Z4 3.0i+AA Tune roadster- 6 speed
The Car: 2007 BMW Z4 Roadster 3.0i Jet Black/ black top 03/07 Build date Beige interior Walnut trim/Piano black wrap 6 Speed Manual 121,020 miles VIN: PM me Location: 52404 Price: $12,000 Options installed: Premium Package Sport Package Heated Seats All weather floor mats Click here for more info on what each package contains: http://www.motortrend.com/cars/2007/...pecifications/ Exterior Condition: 8/10. Looks good, some door dings and rock chips. Top is in good shape, very light 1 cm tear that has been repaired and is hardly noticeable. Normal wear marks from folding and being black in color. Interior Condition: 9/10. Good shape, light wear mark on passenger seat. No major rips or damage. Vinyl wrap is not flawless, but looks pretty good. Mechanical Condition: 9/10. No leaks, runs great. I’ve never noticed the common N52 valve lifter noise. Clutch still grips well, brakes are OEM and good shape, trans shifts perfect. OEM or Mobil 1 0w-40 always used at 5k intervals. Oil shows full every oil change and is always very clean. Top drains always cleaned and works perfectly. Almost all of the miles are highway and the car runs and drives great. Repairs/ recent maintenance done (last 5k miles): Meyle HD control arm bushings OEM sway bar bushings New lower control arms/balljoints Bilstein B4 shocks and struts Redline D6 trans fluid exchange Power top drains cleaned out 4 wheel alignment Valvetronic solenoids cleaned New BMW battery with registration Upgrades: 3 stage intake manifold conversion (less than 20k on all parts) AA N52 Tune- 270 hp Xenon headlights, 6000k 55w. Tires are about 3/32nds in the rear, 7/32nd front. RE050A Run flats. What’s included: 1 key, all manuals, all service records. Title: Clear and in hand. No accidents. Summary: Beautiful, well maintained car. Never raced or abused, OCD enthusiast maintained. No check engine lights or codes. Was a daily driver and 99% of the miles are highway. The N52 and 6 speed manual is probably the greatest drivetrain I have ever driven, and is a complete pleasure to drive. Only reason I am selling is to get an E89.. Note- M steering wheel and performance shift knob not included in price. Stock pieces will be reinstalled after sale. Please, serious buyers only. If you are the type who is looking for under KBB value or the absolutely lowest price on a Z4, this is probably not the car for you. These cars are extremely rare in the midwest especially with the options this one has. Despite the miles, it still drives very tight and strong, with the new suspension parts and 3 stage manifold. Since you asked for feedback... asking nearly $15k for a 3.0i with 121k miles? I know you did the 3.0si conversion, but that doesn't mean it should be priced like one.

Sure. Again thanks for the feedback. How much are you guys thinking this would go for in spring/summer? $13,500 or so?
I'd hate to drop the price much lower than that- most of the current prices I see are around 10-11k for a pre-facelift model, sometimes automatic, sometimes 2.5i,with 100k plus on the odometer. Most of those have non functioning power tops as well. I would imagine my car would get a couple $k more because of the new suspension components, si conversion, and functioning top and preferred options. Is that realistic? |

Hard to say, but I can tell you those are just asking prices. Bimmerfest has a lot of pre-facelift 3.0i owners who recently paid $10-12k for good condition stock models with anywhere from 50-80k miles. I recall a couple guys bought one with a non-functioning top and they both paid in the $7-8k range. Remember wildag? He ended up selling his Z4M roadster with around 60k miles for something like $17-18k earlier this year.
I don't think you can ask more for the new suspension components because they are just routine maintenance on a car with over 100k miles. The Bilstein B4's are an OEM alternative, not a sport shock. Also, a functioning soft top is just par for the course. You can definitely ask for a little more for the Si conversion though. It never hurts to ask for what you want on craigslist and see if anyone bites. To be honest it might be a hard sale on these forums because enthusiasts usually look for lower mileage examples. GLWS.
