Spyder Headlights HID Halo Bulb Replace
Hello
I was planning on purchasing a pair of Spyder HID Halo Headlights. If a halo ring were to burn out, how do I replace it? Or do I not replace it and have to replace a bulb? Or, is it a sealed unit and there is no replacing at all? Thanks Last edited by SwissArmy; 08-15-2017 at 02:04 PM.. Reason: reusing old/dead thread |

I've had these spyder headlights on my Z3 (eBay and Umnitza), and currently have Umnitza (same spyder version, just brighter halos) on my Z4. If a halo burns out, more than likely it'll be the bulb lighting up the halo ring so check the bulb, the ring is just a piece of rounded plastic. The spyder lights from ebay are cheaper so it's not a sealed unit on the halo ring, meaning you can replace the light bulb at home. As for the Umnitza's, there's a BUNCH of small LED's in there so it'd be easier to replace the ring itself in that case. Again, these are LED's, they hardly ever burn out.

The spyder headlight halos are not bright at all. I have them on my car and well it's more for fashion looks at night at this point. I wouldn't worry about seeing them during the day.
