Coding: I'm here to help

Hey all,

This is just a general shout out that if you need help with coding via NCS Expert I may be able to assist. I've gotten pretty familiar and comfortable with it over the last few years.

Also, if anyone in the GTA area would like some coding done feel free to contact me and we can meet up to do it. Most coding takes about 5 minutes.

Good luck

I'd love to code out the tpms and turn on the "track" mode. In Toronto.

There are various sources of info online about how to code and it can be confusing to get it set up initially.

Look up NCS expert for dummies and it will point you in the right direction.

Here is a comprehensive starter link but it's long

I've been meaning to enable track mode (or dtc mode) on my car for a while now and just haven't gotten around to it. I'll pull out my stuff and try to do it and report back. Once it's working I'm willing to code it in on your car if we can meet up up somewhere agreeable.

As for the tpms I assume the light is on because you have different wheels and tires with no sensors? I had a 2007 Si and changed the wheels and tires and the light never came on once I reset the tpms by holding down the button. My 06 M also has no sensors in the wheels and no light either. There is conflicting info online about how to do this but I think it can be done with no coding or modification. I just forget how I did it. Might be worth playing around with the button.

TPMS has to be coded off.
I posted the code change somewhere on Zpost in reply to another request.
If I come across it I'll add the info here

found it....

Finally took a few minutes to test this coding Pungo suggested a long time ago.
There were some recent posts on this topic, so figured it was about time to try it.

I'm happy to report that the coding was successful.
I no longer have the TPMS warnings. (& no more black tape )

Note;
this is for '07 & '08 cars that come with TPMS mounted in wheels.
with the code change, TPMS is disabled and sensors can be removed from the wheels. You will have no warning light.

I think the best way is if you can record your session and post to youtube.
