Can German s55 engine be used without mods in us spec car?

I'm in need of a good used engine so I can rebuild my current blown s55 and I found great deals overseas on ultra low mileage engines but can't find any differences other than the engine wiring harness. Please help if you know if the European s55 is a direct replacement to my USA spec f80 thank you!!!!

Hmm s55 and f80? id recon your probably in the wrong sub forum...
