New Kosei Wheels < 16lbs, How Strong?

Looking at a dedicated track setup and came across these, Kosei K4R in 17x8.5" at 15.6lbs. Anyone here also use Kosei wheels, if so can you comment on how strong they are?

I have them and use them for my winter tires. I have had no problems at all. I have used Kosei K1 TS on another car as track set up and they were also just fine.

A lot of my fiends used Koesi Wheels on their e36 m3's and really like them (not these new ones...) none of my friends bent or cracked one. one nice this is they are cheap enough to not feel bad about replacing one.

I think I read the K1's don't have the necessary load rating for our cars and that's why they're not so great for street use (ie hold up against a pothole).

you can fit 255s up front, you may have to use some spacers to move the wheel away from the strut tower though

You are probably better off in the long run using a fully forged wheel.

You end up getting what you pay for most of the time.

Not even remotely in the same price bracket. There's nothing wrong with cast or semi-forged wheels for track use...just don't be a retard with them.
