I take it that it can't be repaired?
Not that this helps much but fwiw, when I had to replace my windshield on my G35, dealer wanted $600, Safelight did it for $250 and looks just as good as oem. Only difference is the top strip of tint isn't as low as the original but not a big deal. |

shakib- just left a comment, although i didnt see it listed.
Dub-yea i dont think it can be repaired. im hoping it wont be much from safelight, as i really dont car if it has the BMW stamp on it or not. |

Install isn't too bad. The only other parts that need to be replaced are the rubber trim pieces around the hatch. They are one time use only from what I was told when my car had the hatch window taken out to repaint when I got keyed a few years ago.

one would hope my good sir. Im getting it tested out this thursday by a member and assuming were all good, im going to be wiring the money friday morning and getting setting up shipping. Ive got my fingers crossed that safelight will be cheaper but i guess well find out! ps gonna need your help removing the cdv.

^regarding the cdv, sure thing. easy diy albeit i took the easy way out and had bmw of san ant bleed the clutch for me (gave them a bogus reason of inconsistent clutch feel on cold start). are u going the zeck cdv route or pure delete?
hope all goes well with the deal i'm going to be so jealous of extended leather |
